I think food bloggers must have really tough skin. I mean why else would we put ourselves out there like a big round bull's eye, fully exposed to any half-witted Tom, Dick or Harry (or Jane for that matter) who hides behind a cloak of anonymity when posting comments? You know the old adage, "opinions are like assholes and everyone has one..."
I've got one too and here's mine for the day. Think about what you write in the comments section of someone else's blog before you post. Just because your name isn't attached to it, it doesn't mean you should be displaying your ignorance and your shoe-sized IQ openly. Well, that is unless you are too stupid to know that you're, well, stupid. (And we know who you are, we have ways, bwahahahaha!) And don't say your comments are with good intentions because we all know about good intentions, as Samuel L. Jackson will explain in one of my favorite scenes from Pulp Fiction.

There are a lot of a**holes out there. Don't let them get you down.
Hi Sherri,
I try not to let them bug me but it infuriates me when I visit a blog and then read stupid remarks from some jerk. AND they claim they are just stating their opinions about the post blah blah. It's like TV, I say, if you don't like the content, don't read it and go elsewhere.
Okay, I'll stop bitching. :-p
A more concise way of saying what you just said! (strong language therein)

If you think it's bad in the food blogging world, don't go to any computer game or MMO forums. Apparently it's an unspoken rule that if you spent any hard-earned money at all to buy a game, it gives you the right to complain right to the game developer over every little thing you find objectionable to the game, to the point of threatening to quit playing it if your demands aren't met.
Hi Fred and thanks for commenting. lol, that definitely sums it up! I've been on a few different forums: cooking, car, games, plumeria and quilting/sewing and I noticed that it's the same everywhere.
I know what you mean about gamers, though. Grew up as a video junkie and I still peruse some game forums (mostly Xbox 360 these days) and it's amazing the whining some of those people do!
haha now you got me wondering what started all the "drama"
btw, how much did it cost you to recover your hard drive?
Hey Sawyer! It was a couple of things that set me off but I'm over it now. :-)
I think it was around $500+ for the recovery, which was a little high but they recovered everything. A pricey lesson so now I backup every week. :-p
o god....i was thinking in the 200s...alrite, well thank you for the help
What I paid for was pretty high and that was a few years back. I'm sure you can find something cheaper than what I paid for.
You know what they say.....there's one in every bunch. sigh.....
Hey Kirk! Ain't it the truth! You and Cathy have had more than your share of them for sure.
